Finn and his parental units settled in at our Bayfield home and Finn went
straight to work, trying out his new toys.
A wee tear as Finn learns his new boundaries.
Lazy morning playtime.
Dixie loves her Finn cuddles.
Jane and Marilyn arrived and we set up the pool for the boy.
Finn thinks he has discovered a play fort.
Oh, there is my playmate already inside!
Goderich Harbour
Great views of the Maitland River.
Giddyup Grandy!
Finn practices walking
Finn was fascinated with Grandy’s model train.
Favourite toy, Finn constantly bombed around pushing his bus
Finn was smitten by the gigantic book of vehicles.
Bayfield Beach, Lake Huron
We sent Dani and Al into Bayfield for dinner so we could hog Finn all to ourselves.
Eventually, Finn took his first steps to get over to his favourite book! (no pics)
No…..Don’t go!!!!
And so the tears begin….
Chris and I were so sad for the next few days, I had to cover Finn’s pile of toys
with a blanket and refused to wash his little fingerprints off the windows. Even
Dixie missed her daily hugs and asked how she could play with Thomas the Tank
Engine without Finn. We must plan our next trip to Australia soon.
