               So we all have subscribed to frequent hand washing and mask wearing

               and  distanced visits.

               But have we lowered our standards for watching television?  I can safely

               say that I have not however, I am astounded by some of the programing

               out there, especially the timely-titled "The Masked Singer".  Yes, it 

               actually exists and singers dress up in elaborate costumes with masked 

               faces belt out a tune for the panel and audience at home.  The goal is to

               identify the masked vocalist.  Well, I was surprised to see that the latest

               contestant was disguised as a mushroom. 

               Looking through my late summer and fall images I found many pictures 

               of "fleshy fruiting bodies" and thus this post was born.
